Tools we use...

Whether you need support educating or working on your culture, there’s plenty of tools we can use. Below is a glossary of some we often employ, those marked * are what we considered culture focussed, those with no marking are considered educational and tools with + are considered both.

Action Groups

Action groups can be invaluable in school but many find themselves struggling to make progress. Creating a solid system for how groups function changes the game. We're experienced in getting this right so action groups become instrumental in maintaining culture and driving progress long after our work together has finished.

Celebration and Events

Increasingly students from all demographics feel unseen and unheard, not least regarding race, Focus on who has a right to feel this does nothing to support the goal of connection and safety. In order to build a positive community everyone needs

to feel seen, heard and understood. Teaching students how to celebrate themselves and each other without diminishing the value of anyone else is hugely important. When done right, day-to-day initiatives make for a cohesive community and connected culture; whilst spotlight events create an inspiring, vibrant energy. . . especially when students play a role in putting them together!

Curriculum Integration

There are only so many hours in a day! We know that school and uni timetables are jam packed. Of course integrating this work into other classes means you don’t have to find more hours for stand alone workshops. It also makes for a more well rounded and unbiased interaction with the topic but, how do you scrape together the time to research and lesson plan these changes? We help weave things in to pre-existing lessons meaning we take the time to comb through and find spots to make small but meaningful tweaks, enabling you to teach classes you know, just with some extra impact.
